XAI Summer School 2025: A Practical Introduction to Explainable AI
The third edition of the XAI Summer School will take place on 1–5 September 2025 at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.

Building on the success of previous fully booked editions, this year’s programme will again focus on a hands-on introduction to the latest trends in explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), with special emphasis on its applications and methodological innovations in medicine, particularly in oncopathology.
Who Can Participate
The summer school is open to researchers, professionals, and students who wish to deepen their knowledge of trustworthy and interpretable AI. Participants will gain practical experience applying AI in medicine, especially digital pathology.

The programme combines theoretical foundations with practical training. Participants will work with real-world data and learn to develop explainable AI models using the RatioPath and RatioViz tools. In addition to technical skills, the school will highlight responsible handling of sensitive data and compliance with ethical and legal standards.
